Staying true to you. Everything I've learned. The break up needed.
Aug 28, 2026The you you’ve always known you are is you.
What hurts the most is trying not to be you.
Watering down your message, your voice, your brand.
Wearing what you think you should wear.
Doing things that are familiar but not quite right for you.
I know there are times in your life where you have felt constricted.
Or that it wasn’t safe to fully be you.
I’ve been in those exact places and for my own safety I held back.
And it hurts.
To know that I was holding back and yet that felt like it was the ONLY available option.
Until it wasn’t….
The Process
Energetically I did the work to clear, protect and work on my own energy.
Practically I did everything I could to expand myself financially and grow my business.
There were no quantum leaps.
There were periods of NOTHING looking like it was changing on the surface. But under the surface everything was quietly reforming.
This is when I learned to hold the greatest thing of all…FAITH.
Without faith there’s what is and what isn’t. But with faith anything is possible, even if you can’t see it you can FEEL it.
Breaking Up
The break up required that no-one told you would be so hard.
The version of you who made choices about herself, like;
How she presented herself to the World.
Probably toned herself down.
Most likely stopped making the effort she wanted to make.
Definitely saw herself as ‘less than’, unworthy or undesirable.
Breaking up with her is required.
The habits are on default.
The decisions are automatic.
The actions almost always contradict the desired outcome.
Saying No
The most excruciating part is saying ‘no’.
It’s like being on the worst diet of your entire life.
You will feel pain, question everything and want to quit in the process.
But I promise when you stop energetically feeding that version of you, you suddenly have space to be true to yourself.
You’ll remember what you loved, what you dreamed about, what sparks your creativity and you’ll clearly see and feel what aligns and what doesn’t.
You’ll say no because one no means a million yeses.
You’ll start being who you were always meant to be.
The wild part is you already know this and yet something is still holding you back.
Since sharing Genesis I've encountered rapid transformation and finally feel like the true version of myself.
And I want the same for women no matter what their background, circumstances or dreams.
