A Pop Of Colour That's Giving Me Life, New Skills For Increased Revenue & My New Favourite Bio Upgrade!

I came back from my holiday craving COLOUR!

Inspired by the gorgeous bougainvillea that I saw everywhere in Marbella and Estepona, I wanted to bring colour back into my wardrobe and into my garden pots.

Which led me to...

Boden

I found some beautiful knitwear pieces on Boden from their new collection that reminded me of a Ralph Lauren knit that I tried on in Puerta Banus. I fell in love but it was so hot that day I just couldn't even think about buying a heavy knit. It's on my wishlist!

This Boden cable knit with a pop of pink was a must and because I love cashmere, this argyle Elsie cashmere crew jumper I had to have.

I loved these argyle socks and these embroidered shoes both for colour and print.

Flower Shopping

My 'Provence-inspired' pots were slightly tired when I returned. The last thing I said before leaving was that I wanted to refresh them when I got back.

I hit the garden centres close to home. We are lucky in that we have a great selection. I gathered up some rosemary (for scent and to cook with), cyclamen in bright pinks, echinacea in oranges and pinks, some purple foxglove and a mix of viola. I'm no gardener but I love filling pots and troughs seasonally.

The result was a pretty burst of colour and fresh flowers that will bloom for another couple of months.

New Skills

I'm a fan of learning new skills. Last year I had no idea how to build a Shopify website. In an attempt to help a client, I started learning Shopify and although my skills are limited, I was able to do it.

The process stirred up something in me.

It's the done thing now-a-days to hire help from the experts. But experts charge accordingly. And often times their rate isn't accessible right away.

Learning how to build things, whether it's a website, a new technology or Shopify, have instilled massive belief in what I'm capable of and helped me to figure out processes that grow revenue.

I highly recommend developing new skills that keep you and your business growing.

My favorite new Instagram addition has been Coreli a genius aesthetically beautiful 'link in bio' wizard!

It has transformed my previous bio links list into a gorgeous branded landing page in minutes!

It's already a great price but use my link and you can sign up for free and get 100% off for 2 months on annual plans. Check it out!

Things I Have My Eye On

Emma Bridgewater's Farmyard Collection that would complement my kitchen and look fab on my table.

Christy bath towels to refresh the bathroom in colour berry. Perfect for Autumn.

This Tusting Clara Grande bag in shade taupe. I could see this working with so many outfits and the colour is amazing.

Finally, this Holland Cooper Field Vest in Bourbon Tweed is absolutely gorgeous!

That's all this week.

With Summer almost over I'm already itching to get back into routine and projects that are calling me.
